Exam result..Support you child

Students, parent and teachers...

Getting exam results can be a worrying time. It may seem like the whole future depends on what one gets. It's important to remember that exam results are just the start of future career and there are lots of options if one didn't get the grades he/she wanted. Remember that exam results are just that – marks given to one thing student wrote down, once. They're not a number that reflects the worth of a child, and they won't stop a student from doing what he/she wants in the long-term.

Greediness

Today the thought that came to my mind is Greedy. Greed is like a dark side of every man, and you could not see it from the appearance of a man, but in the inside the greedy instinct tries dominating you--Steven Eric Chen. Greediness is an intense strong or excessive desire for wealth or possession, especially wishing to possess more than what one needs or deserves. Some students get greedy to earn more and more knowledge. Some persons are greedy to learn more and more so that they may do something great. Not all greed have negative consequences.
Great people like Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa had the greed for helping people who suffered, which pushed them to crave for more   knowledge and learn more about sufferings of people. Greed of innovation has led to invention of computers, gadgets. The greed for knowledge has led them to explore the moon, which was considered as something impossible thousands of years ago. Lord Buddha’s quest and greed to find his answers to questions about life led to his enlightenment.
Greed can lead to motivation and motivation at times can benefit those that are all around this single person. Greed is what motivates us to reach the heights of success . It acts like a fuel to us for which we toil to achieve.Greediness –if  the right kind of selfishness--an honoring of the true Self--is essential to emotional and spiritual self-healing. So the key is the secret to being selfish in the right way, at the right time and right

measure.Greediness in negative connotation    causing hatred, anger, jealousy, self harm, frustration, harm to environment, killing   is harmful which should be realized and stopped at.

I feel its important to balance between Need and Greed.

Encouragement

In our life we all need encouragement whenever we feel low or things don’t go as we plan, get rejected by someone we cared for, feeling low from the ups and downs of journey called life, remember life can just turn anytime.   All it takes is to keep going forward,   even when it feels like it would be easier to just lay down

and give up… some encouragements from self or trusted person helps in sailing through this low tide. Thus Encouragement is the act of giving courage, increase confidence of success, inspire with courage,,spirit, or strength of mind, to embolden, to animate,to inspire, to give confidence and hope. Encouragement from any source is like a drop of rain upon a parched desert-Claire Gillian A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success. Always Encourage yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself, Never doubt who you are?

Encouragement is like oxygen to the Human, Don't forget spirit you are carrying, someone else's  encourage them help them breathe.

Don’t trust people who make False Promises

Today I wanted to talk about don't trust people who make false promises all the time and you have experience it time and again but still you inner heart says this one last chance let me trust him/her. A false promise is a statement or word that   most of the time knowingly or unknowingly we give a lot of promises without thinking and are not able to keep it. Repeatedly making and then breaking commitments and promises is a common trait among some people
is not in accordance with the truth or fact. Not being genuine, being fake, untruthful and the list can go on.This topic came as
Promises from partner to keep talking or will call you back.  Then... Phone calls does not come when you call it goes unanswered. Text messages are ignored.....hope is broken. Hearts are aching. Nothing hearts more than being disappointed by the single person you thought would never hurt you.
A husband repeatedly has affairs, but apologizes profusely when caught.
A teenager repeatedly promises to help out around the house but doesn't follow through
A parent commits to a weekly activity with their child but regularly has another 'more important' priority when the time comes
A housewife promises to reduce  her spending habit but repeatedly runs up credit card bills.
Even as small as --  lot of the time  I have come across many people who on fraction of second would say –“please give me few seconds and I will get back to you… that few seconds turn into days and he/she does not get back.
Rita is waiting for her friend at bus stop..on being asked friend replied  I am coming in 10 minutes while in reality it would take more than probably half an hour.
Thus False promises is hope built entirely around fantasy a hope that has no knowable chance of coming to fruition. Remember- Some people are forgetful so trusting those people promises is not using common sense. Some people just talk as if things are simple, and that they will definitely help you, but when it comes to the real situation, they are the first ones to run away or make themselves unavailable.
So ----When you know that a person makes promises without thinking and has not kept it many times its important not to depend on that person for important tasks.
Don’t react emotionally when the person continuously breaks his/her promise and don’t blindly trust them.
If you feel really hurt share the problem with someone, for important task-keep a backup.
Its important to move away from person who makes false promises.
If you can talk to him/her make realize them not to make confident promises of things that they are not sure of—As they say you are what you do not what you say you will do.
Always remember that a person who has always excuses for not being with you or not keeping up to tasks promised to you all the time...its alright to move away ---it may be very painful but its important..
So remember when you really matter to someone that person will always make time for you, no excuses, no lies, and no false promises

Cheerful--importance

In our daily lives we have been so monotonous these days that we have forgotten the literal meaning of cheerful, most of the times we are unhappy, complaining, irritated or sad. Even If we open the morning paper from the front page  to the last page there is so much of stress, pain, hatred, crime, abuse so I thought I would focus on this word Cheerful…
If you see today’s children their childhood has forgotten to be innocently cheerful—they are all so busy with pressure of studies, competition, gadgets-- hardly you will find children enjoying without any worries…Just being cheerful and happy . But being cheerful is the need of the hour if we want to have next generation a happy generation.
Adults in the role of doing multiple tasks remained stressed..and forget to be happy… Do you remember the last time you have laughed your heart out…without any inhibitions just being self… Today my friends who are reading this  I request you to take 10 minutes of your day and recollect a funny incident of your life and laugh it out.. or do something that makes you happy .
YOU MUST BE DETERMINED TO BE CHEERFUL IN WHATEVER THE SITUATION IS- because the events in life is a temporary phase it will go away….AND YOU SHOULD BELIEVE THAT THE DECISION TO BE CHEERFUL IS YOUR CHOICE AND NOT CIRCUMSTANCES.
When you keep on repeating an action it becomes a behavioral habit such as the BRUSHING  habit. When you keep repeating MENTAL ACTION   as consciously directing your thoughts towards cheerfulness it becomes a mental habit and if you get into habit of thinking negative it leads to  hopelessness
Being Cheerful is very  contagious  so if you are cheerful you can spread this and people around you also be cheerful and happy.  To insure good health it’s important to have daily doses of cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life. How we develop physical immunity to protect our self from diseases it’s important that we should develop emotional immunity against negativity, hopelessness, setbacks. You can develop immunity of emotion in mind by cultivating habits of right rational thinking.

Attitude, Awareness, Action-Key to success..

Today as the first day of blogging I want to talk about Awareness, Attitude and Action that can lead to Success or lead to Failure.
An Attitude is an expression of favor or disfavor towards a person, place, thing or event. An attitude is generally formed by a person’s past or present. Negative attitude can create hindrance in achieving purpose or goals of life and lead to unproductive outcome. However positive thoughts generate positive feelings, attract positive experiences and helps in developing   positive attitude.
Realising this is called Self awareness. Self-awareness is a psychological state in which people are aware of their traits, feelings and behaviour. Crisp & Turner, 2010, says alternately, it can be defined as the realization of oneself as an individual entity. After becoming aware it’s important to take Action.
Actions are your behaviors, the things you do which move you toward your goals. Taking action is an important step towards   achievement. We often have difficulty in taking action as we always focus on that  right decision or right action and in the pursuit end up doing nothing. People sometimes assume that only big things count as taking action. However it is often the small, steady actions which contribute to you reaching your goals.
The three components of achieving the life you desire is   Attitude, Self awareness  and Actions . Adverse circumstances bothers you till the time you pay attention. The moment you divert your attention into favourable circumstances all your troubles fade away.
Remember::::“There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU.” You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.  Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life. “The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself.
If anyone has difficulty in taking action ..one can contact us at:aparna.adhikari@makrofoundation.org
